Jasmine Healthcare
Jasmine Healthcare prides itself on providing the highest standard of elderly care in a residential setting. We locate our homes, at the heart of the local communities which they serve, in original period properties with character at their centre. We endeavour to retain as many of the original features as we can, whilst sympathetically extending, modernising and refurbishing the buildings to enhance the standard of living for all our residents. This helps us to achieve, what we believe to be the optimum size for a care home (40-50 residents), in terms of balancing the culture and community offered by our homes, with their operational efficiency. In addition, we require that all of our homes, offer attractive private grounds for the use of our residents and their visitors. Jasmine provides a combination of nursing, residential and dementia care across its five homes.
Background
Jasmine Healthcare was conceived by Chris Clark, in early 2004. Chris possessed first-hand experience of care homes through personal family experience, where he had found the standards of accommodation and care offered to be poor. As a result, Chris passionately believes that many care homes for the elderly in England need to be improved. Consequently, Jasmine’s mission has always been:

Orchard Court
Orchard Court provides personal care, including dementia care, and independent living accommodation, in and around a former coaching inn. This home currently provides accommodation for 39 residents in predominantly single rooms with ensuite facilities or wet rooms, with most bedrooms being located on the ground floor. Since acquiring this home, Jasmine has obtained registration to provide specialist dementia care. We have also extended and reconfigured the rear of the home to improve its aesthetics, add two further large ensuite bedrooms and create a new landscaped patio area for our residents' use. In addition, a development of 13 spacious, high specification, one bedroom independent living care bungalows, called Jasmine Court, have been built in the grounds of this home. Residents living in these units can choose either to live completely independently, to receive some personal and day care, or to have full care packages. We are delighted that Orchard Court has been rated Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission, 100% by North Lincolnshire Social Services and is rated as 9.8 out of 10.0 on www.carehome.co.uk.
